World Day for Safety and Health at Work
Today is the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
The safety and health of our employees is a priority at LuxDev. These notions are essential in our daily work, in Luxembourg and in our partner countries, some of which are located in fragile contexts.
The key word in security is PREVENTION.
In addition to the first aid and fire training courses which are regularly organised in LuxDev's offices as well as at headquarters, more specific training courses such as defensive driving in hostile areas and HEAT (hostile environment awareness training) have been set up.
The HEAT training allows all our employees to:
- better assess and understand the various threats emanating from a hostile environment
- train safety and security practices
- develop individual skills and abilities to deal with dangerous situations
- develop group dynamics to improve collaboration and communication.
The health and safety measures taken by LuxDev help to make our working environment safer and healthier.
