Final evaluation

This project specifically aims to support the implementation, at the national level of a number of strategic actions within this important Aid Effectiveness Agenda. To do this, it will strengthen the capacity of the cabinet of the Vice-minister for Development Cooperation, which is the entity responsible for managing Development Cooperation in El Salvador, and provide the tools and support necessary for the implementation of each of the five areas that make up the Agenda.

Axis 1: The National Plan for Efficiency in Development Cooperation;

Axis 2: Reform "Delivering As One";

Axis 3: The implementation of the National Strategy for Decentralised Development Cooperation;

Axis 4: Framework for Performance Evaluation of South-South cooperation and triangular cooperation;

Axis 5: Regional Aid Effectiveness Agenda  conducted under participation of the Salvador Central American Integration System (SICA).


The project has a total duration of 25 months and started in December 2013. It will be implemented by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation (BDC), through the Technical Secretariat for External Financing (SETEFE) of the Vice-Minister's cabinet.
