Our LuxDev staff in Laos proudly stands united with the global movement to end digital violence against all women and girls.
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign that runs annually from November 25 to December 10, aimed at raising awareness and combating violence against women and girls:
- 25 November marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women;
- 10 December is celebrated as Human Rights Day.
The campaign’s vibrant colour orange symbolises hope and a future free from violence. We embrace this theme and demonstrate our solidarity and engagement!
Our commitment: we are dedicated to the fight against gender-based violence and the promotion of equality. Together, through awareness and action, we can make a real difference. To match words with action, this year two representatives from LuxDev participated in the Opening Ceremony of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, organised by UNFPA.
In addition, LuxDev organised an online session with staff from five provinces focused on preventing and addressing digital violence.
Let’s continue working together to make this campaign a success and reaffirm our commitment to gender equality.
Together, we can create a safer, more inclusive digital world for all women and girls.
